The JESCO Pay-SOS Program

It is time once again to redeem your Pay-SOS in the JESCO Pay-SOS Safety Incentive Program!

This program is a performance based safety incentive program for all JESCO employees. It is based on all employees earning 5 "Pay-SOS" credits per month with an opportunity to earn more through assertive safety actions. These actions may be in the form of recognizing hazards on the job and bringing them to the aattention of supervisors, performing weekly safety talks, performing job site safety audits or any other actions that a supervisor feels makes them eligible for additional Pay-SOS credits.

Pay-SOS credits can also be deducted from an employee for unsafe acts. These include acts resulting in on-the-job injuries or the potential for injuries or damage to equipment. For example, any injury that results in a visit to a medical provider will automatically result in a 5 Pay-SOS credit reduction for the employee responsible for the incident. However, the employee can earn credits back as mentioned above.

JESCO Pay-SOS credits may be redeemed every six months for merchandise from the JESCO Pay-SOS catalog. Employees will be notified ahead of time of when it will be time to redeem the credits. Pay-SOS credits can be carried over from one year to the next in order for the employee to build up credits for more expensive merchandise.
